fountain just south in the central square adds a rythmic backdrop to the

Serenda Street and Tallan Avenue intersect at a cobblestone-paved town
square. A large fountain stands at the center of the square with shops and

Serenda Street intersects with Mantelar Avenue, a bustling hub of traffic
between the main city and the Fortress of Light to the west. The city's

Tall leatherleaf trees, carefully spaced apart to form a wall of green and
brown, hedge a gravel-covered road wide enough for a carraige to pass with
room to spare. Colorful songbirds flit from branch to branch, a tapestry of
sound and motion to dizzy the eye. The gate to the city of Amador is to the
north, and the road continues southward as well.

On a Gravel-Covered Road
Finely ground gravel crunches underfoot as it lines a wide road that
ribbons through a beautifully manicured set of leatherleaf trees. The
trees form a wall to either side of the road, and their branches lace
together overhead to form a dome of filtered green. The trees do a passable
job of masking the fact that the walls of Amador encircle this idyllic
atmosphere, standing firm in their protection of the area even beyond the
trees and along the boulevards to the east holding the city townhomes of
members of the Royal Court.

Entering the Courtyard
Gravel meets flagstone where the road ends and the courtyard begins. Solid
stone maintains a north to south passage for a roadway, while to either
side the flagstone seems to slip away in a gradual interlacing of lush
green lawn and smaller bits of artfully placed pavement. A stone wall
separates a gravelled road from the courtyard, a definite boundary in this
illusion of outdoor freedom. To the east a intricately tiled roofline peeks
over the treetops.

The smallest bits of crushed rock make the surface of this road that is
easily wide enough to allow two carraiges to pass without touching each
other. Leatherleaf trees form a natural wall to either side, their trunks

Along the Gravelled Road
A wide road paved with crushed gravel ribbons north and south, a glittering
path of shale that crunches with the slightest pressure. Tall leatherleaf
trees grow on both sides of the road, carefully planted and nurtured to
resemble a wall of brown and green. Their branches twine together to form a
green archway overhead.

At the Gravelled Crossroads
The road branches at precise angles to form a crossroads. To the north and
to the south the road stretches onward, wide and welcoming amidst a dense
line of leatherleaf trees. A thinner ribbon of roadway goes a short
distance west towards an immense gate, and to the east some smaller but
equally impressive structures can be seen.

jutting over the treetops making the pine trees look like matchsticks in
comparison. To the west the trees truly shorten to the size of saplings.
