He wasn't quite equipped is what got him killed. Ironically enough he ripped in the same room as the lowbie he killed. (Could be wrong, then it's not that funny)

A Dry Pond
By the wear on the ground and from a few partial footprints, one can assume
that this place was once much frequented, probably when there was actually
water here. Now all that remains is the dry bottom and a ring of bushes that
probably grew around the pond. Dark berries grow on several bushes. The pond
looks as if it has been dry for quite some time, but there seem to be some
fresher tracks that have come to this area.

Let's be clear on this. I don't kill lowbies. I quaked 1 room away from you to get the extra damage in. Was testing the spell. Even it was bad equipment, I still had 220ish defense. But still got blasted half the time without even being bash... hrm... back to combo, I guess.

Then it's not that funny, I stumbled apon his corpse thinking "wtf is this doing here?" then you walked in. And yeah, if I missed a bash I'd have lost.
